What the extended warranty covers

Coverage applies to the components that make your appliance run, the same parts the standard warranty protects:

• Compressors, motors and sealed systems on refrigerators and freezers
• Heating elements, burners and igniters on ranges, cooktops and dryers
• Pumps, drums and control boards on washers and dryers
• Electronic controls and internal wiring

As with the standard warranty, the disclosed cosmetic mark is not covered, since it is pointed out up front and reflected in the discounted price, and damage from misuse, improper installation or accidents after purchase is not covered.
