Common questions

A few things shoppers ask about buying scratch and dent.

Scratch and dent appliances have cosmetic marks, like a scratch or dent, from shipping, handling or a previous return. Many are customer returns, for example a change of mind or a unit that did not fit, so they are not sold as brand new. Because of the marks they cost far less than a flawless unit, usually 40 to 70 percent off.

We sell two conditions. New open box comes in two types: scratch and dent models, which may look new but have minor scratches or dents, and customer returns, which may show minor signs of use and some of which also have scratches or dents. Both come with a 1-year store warranty, and you can add an extended warranty of up to 5 years. Refurbished units are used units that have been tested and cleaned, so they are not new; they come with a 90-day store warranty, and an extended warranty is not available on them. Every listing shows its own condition and photos.

All sales are final on the specific unit you buy, and you confirm its condition at checkout. If there is a real problem with the unit, we will exchange it. Ask us for exact photos on WhatsApp before you buy so you know exactly what you are getting.

Yes. New open box units include a 1-year warranty and refurbished units include a 90-day store warranty. The warranty details are listed on each product page.

Savings usually range from 40% to 70% off the original retail price. The exact discount is shown on every product.

Why buy a scratch and dent Hisense appliance

A scratch and dent Hisense appliance has cosmetic marks, such as a light scratch or a dent, and many are customer returns (a change of mind, or a unit that did not fit). The marks are shown on the listing, the unit is covered by our warranty, and the price drops a lot. For shoppers across Woodbridge and the wider DMV, it is the simplest way to own a premium Hisense appliance without paying the premium price.

We disclose the exact condition of every Hisense unit before you buy, and you are always welcome to inspect it in person or ask us for photos. Each one is covered by our warranty, available for free pickup at our Woodbridge warehouse, and eligible for delivery across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC.
